Our God is a supernatural God. What does supernatural mean?

1. Of or relating to existence outside the natural world.
2. Attributed to a power that seems to violate or go beyond natural forces.
3. Of or relating to a deity.

Is your church a supernatural church? Is the Holy Spirit present? Can you tell when he is present? If not, find a new church. Sad but true. Sorry not sorry. You cannot be a supernatural church without the presence of the Holy Spirit. God has put on my heart many times in the last two years that we are moving into a supernatural explosion of God into the hearts of believers. We are already seeing more and more (lay) people expressing new gifts from Holy Spirit.

Of all the religious denominations, I believe Pentecostal is considered THE supernatural church. We believe in gifts from the Holy Spirit, and his presence in our worship:

1 Corinthians 12 

4 "Now there are [distinctive] varieties of spiritual gifts [special abilities given by the grace and extraordinary power of the Holy Spirit operating in believers], but it is the same Spirit [who grants them and empowers believers]. 

5 And there are [distinctive] varieties of ministries and service, but it is the same Lord [who is served]. 

6 And there are [distinctive] ways of working [to accomplish things], but it is the same God who produces all things in all believers [inspiring, energizing, and empowering them].

7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit [the spiritual illumination and the enabling of the Holy Spirit] for the common good.

8 To one is given through the [Holy] Spirit [the power to speak] the message of wisdom, and to another [the power to express] the word of knowledge and understanding according to the same Spirit;

9 to another [wonder-working] faith [is given] by the same [Holy] Spirit, and to another the [extraordinary] gifts of healings by the one Spirit;

10 and to another the working of miracles, and to another prophecy [foretelling the future, speaking a new message from God to the people], and to another discernment of spirits [the ability to distinguish sound, godly doctrine from the deceptive doctrine of man-made religions and cults], to another various kinds of [unknown] tongues, and to another interpretation of tongues.

11 All these things [the gifts, the achievements, the abilities, the empowering] are brought about by one and the same [Holy] Spirit, distributing to each one individually just as He chooses."

At our church, which we just started attending, we have a prayer meeting Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m. I attended it for the first time on November 20, 2021. Even though there were only three people present at the prayer meeting, you could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in the room. We prayed for various things, and people who had submitted prayer requests, and others who had not.

I have personally seen amazing results from prayer, even when I pray alone, much less three righteous people, God's house, in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah! Praise God!

Prayer is not a one-time, one-shot deal. Imagine if the whole church were praying for the same things, at the same time.

​Needless to say, I will be praying for all of our prayer warriors to show up at all prayer meetings. Amen!

Now, one of the other things I prayed for Saturday night is for every seat in our church to be filled, all sermons, meetings and classes. Thursday morning, also on Thanksgiving Day, God put on my heart that our church is getting ready to explode, not only in members, but also in the presence of the Holy Spirit! I even saw a tent, and shuttles transporting people! Hallelujah! Amen!

These are great times we are coming into. God is making it known that He is real, and He is here. There are wonders and signs and miracles happening all around us ..... open your eyes to see, your ears to hear and your heart to understand ..... but do not expect to hear or see them from the false prophets (fake news).

All honor, glory, praise and thanksgiving to God, the Most High.

​As believers in the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ, WE ARE the light of the world.

Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven." Hallelujah!

As believers in Christ, we know from scripture that temptation is common to human (mankind) experience, but that God will not let us be tempted beyond our ability to resist. Hallelujah! Praise God.

We also know that if we remain steadfast until the end (resist the temptation of sin), we will be saved. Thank you, Jesus!

1 Corinthians 10

13 No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience [nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance]; but God is faithful [to His word—He is compassionate and trustworthy], and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability [to resist], but along with the temptation He [has in the past and is now and] will [always] provide the way out as well, so that you will be able to endure it [without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy].

14 Therefore, my beloved, run [keep far, far away] from [any sort of] idolatry [and that includes loving anything more than God, or participating in anything that leads to sin and enslaves the soul]."

Pray that we all remain steadfast under the trials and tribulations and temptations  of human life, life in the flesh, for we know that if we persevere in righteousness (repentance, obedience to God) until the end, we will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised:

"Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him." ​ James 1:12

Matthew 24

11 "Many false prophets will appear and mislead many.

12 Because lawlessness is increased, the love of most people will grow cold.

13 But the one who endures and bears up [under suffering] to the end will be saved.

14 This good news of the kingdom [the gospel] will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end [of the age] will come."

Pray that God's children have a renewing and a refreshing of Spirit, so that we do not become salt that has lost its taste, but that our light always shines brightly, so that men may see our good deeds and glorify our Father who is in heaven! Praise God! Amen!

Matthew 5

13 “You are the [d]salt of the earth; but if the salt has [e]lost its taste (purpose), how can it be made salty? It is no longer good for anything, but to be thrown out and walked on by people [when the walkways are wet and slippery].

1. Matthew 5:13 In ancient times salt was often used as a preservative. Similarly, followers of Christ are to preserve both the gospel message and Christian values in the secular world.
2. Matthew 5:13 The salt from the Dead Sea contains impurities that affect its qualities as a seasoning and as a preservative.

Finally, no matter what life throws at us, we know that no mountain is too high because the Lord is our strength, and he has made our feet steady.

A Prayer for the Times

Habakkuk 3 (AMP)

17 "Though the fig tree does not blossom

And there is no fruit on the vines,

Though the yield of the olive fails

And the fields produce no food,

Though the flock is cut off from the fold

And there are no cattle in the stalls,

18 Yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the Lord;

I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation!

19 The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army];

He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet

And makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my [e]high places [of challenge and responsibility]."

Habakkuk 3

1 "The prayer of Habakkuk the prophet.

2 Lord, I have heard the news about you. I am amazed, Lord, at the powerful things you did in the past. Now I pray that you will do great things in our time. Please make these things happen in our own days. But in your anger, remember to show mercy to us. Selah

3 God is coming from Teman. The Holy One is coming from Mount Paran. Selah His glory covers the heavens, and his praise fills the earth!

4 Rays of light shine from his hand, a bright, shining light. There is such power hiding in that hand.

5 The sickness went before him, and the destroyer followed behind him.

6 He stood and judged the earth. He looked at the people of all the nations, and they shook with fear. For many years the mountains stood strong, but those mountains fell to pieces. Those old, old hills fell down. God has always been able to do that.

7 I saw that the cities of Cushan were in trouble and that the houses of Midian trembled with fear.

8 Lord, were you angry at the rivers?

Were you angry at the streams?

Were you angry at the sea?

Were you angry when you rode your horses and chariots to victory?

9 Even then you showed your rainbow. It was proof of your agreement with the families of the earth. Selah

​And the dry land split the rivers.

10 The mountains saw you and shook. The water flowed off the land. The water from the sea made a loud noise  as it lost its power over the land.

11 The sun and the moon lost their brightness. They stopped shining when they saw your bright flashes of lightning. That lightning was like spears and arrows shooting through the air.

12 In anger you walked on the earth and punished the nations.

13 You came to save your people and to lead your chosen king to victory. You killed the leader in every evil family, from the least important person to the most important in the land. Selah

14 You used Moses’ walking stick to stop the enemy soldiers. Those soldiers came like a powerful storm to fight against us. They thought they could defeat us easily, as robbing the poor in secret.

15 But you marched your horses through the deep water, stirring up the mud.

16 My whole body shook when I heard the story. My lips trembled. I felt weak deep down in my bones and stood there shaking. But I will wait patiently for destruction to come to those who attack us."

"A WARNING AND THINGS TO DO" AUDIO BLOG

Jude 1:17-23

17 "Dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ said would happen.

18 They told you, 'In the last times there will be people who laugh at God and do only what they want to do—things that are against God.'

19 These are the people who divide you. They are not spiritual, because they don’t have the Spirit.

20 But you, dear friends, use your most holy faith to build yourselves up even stronger. Pray with the help of the Holy Spirit.

21 Keep yourselves safe in God’s love, as you wait for the Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy to give you eternal life.

22 Help those who have doubts.

​23 Rescue those who are living in danger of hell’s fire. There are others you should treat with mercy, but be very careful that their filthy lives don’t rub off on you."
